Marvic Campagnolo 5 Spoke Motorcycle Wheels for Moto Guzzi Le Mans 1980 (Pair) Ref: MCAMPMGZ In 1973 the Italian Campagnolo marketed the first "real" monolithic motorcycle wheel with a five-spoke, cross-section design. In the span of two seasons these wheels totally supplanted the spoked wheels in the starting grids of all classes of MotoGP.
Nearly forty years after their successful introduction into the world of two wheels, the interest in the glorious era motorcycles (and their wheels) is now high more than ever. This is why is born Marvic Vintage: a line of products dedicated to classic bikes only. In accordance with the original design and aesthetics Marvic has made no changes, except quality improvements thanks to technological innovations that today the company has.
Light and reliable, the Campagnolo replica wheels offered by Marvic are made by sand gravity casting, in the original 18” size, in magnesium alloy and are suitable for tubeless tyres. Proposals offered are two types: ready to fit “plug ‘n play”, or in a basic version then adaptable by each customer to his own motorcycle.
Besides available applications Marvic provides a specific and exclusive service to the owners of these jewels of the past, producing unique items on request, out of catalogue.
