bracket works fantastically.
I am 6'3", a mechanical
engineer (without much fluid
mechanics experience), and have
tried many different windscreen
scenarios, but I always come
to the conclusion that I can't
stand windscreened bikes! So,
I usually cut windscreens down
to have straight air hit my
helmet.
This MADSTAD bracket changed
my mind, and I am actually enjoying
riding behind my stock V-STROM
1000 windscreen. I have it on
highest setting, with 1/2 tilt.
This is now the first windscreened
bike that I like. I wear a full-face
helmet, and with sunglasses
on and the visor up, I have
no wind or buffetting at any
speed so far up to 90MPH. The
first time I put it at the full
up, 1/2 tilt setting, I actually
could not believe the speed
I was going because I had no
wind in my chest or face, NO
BUFFETTING, and I could hear
the bike's engine.
